| Get the Z33 filters and planar setup. This pulls the filters completely up and out of the airflow, so that shield is no longer bent down. At speed the natural airflow is doing most of the work. You'll see on some radiator shrouds there are flaps that open to allow more air through when ram air>Fan Air guides need to be the full length. Any gaps will allow air to go places you do not want. As Ash has said, air pressures can get a little funky on the hood. You'd have to do some experimenting to get something that works. Personally I plan on getting a junk hood I can hack up and toy with. I'd like to build in some naca-style ducts to blow down the back of the engine.
